Coding and Geometry
Stained Glass Project
This is a unique programme where students learn and apply concepts from multiple disciplines to create beautiful decals that have a stained glass quality. Combining geometry, coding, robotics and art, students will learn:
-
shapes, measurement, and angles;
-
computer science concepts like sequencing and loops;
-
how to build code to create geometric shapes and intricate patterns;
-
how to programme robots to draw shapes;
-
using art resources to turn computer created images into a physical work of art.
At the end of this course, students will take home a glass decal that they coded, designed, and crafted themselves.
